2017’s first Contra Costa Watershed Forum meeting will be held next Wednesday, January 11, in Concord at the Willow Pass Recreation Center. We hope that you will be able to join us, this month’s speakers will be from UC Berkeley,
- Matt Kondolf, Professor of Environmental Planning at UC Berkeley, will discuss some of the projects he has worked on throughout the world, and provide an introduction to the Environmental Planning program at Berkeley.
- Jen Natali and Ari Frink, grad students at UC Berkeley, will present their findings and recommended steps on their analysis of Grayson Creek. They identified opportunities to transform single purpose channels to incorporate multiple benefits into the channels. They are looking for feedback on how the information they have can best be communicated and applied by the many groups that are interested in watersheds.
