Let’s explore local efforts to clean up Contra Costa! At the next Watershed Forum meeting we have two presenters who will share programs focused on creating a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable Contra Costa. 

• Andrew McKleroy, Sustainable Contra Costa. Cleaner Contra Costa is a competition; you can participate individually or with a chosen group to see how your actions can streamline the use of natural resources.
• Ben Weise, Contra Costa Resource Conservation District. Through CalRecycle, Contra Costa RCD has received grant funding to help private agricultural landowners cleanup and prevent future illegal dumping. Since 2017, CalRecycle has funded $81,000 in cleanup and prevention work across 3 sites in Contra Costa county. Ben will share information on past, ongoing, and future projects as the program continues to grow and remove illegal dumping from agricultural lands.
