The Forum convened on July 13 at the San Pablo Community Center to learn about environmental education, especially the creek and watershed education programs that are essential for engaging young people. Representatives of three successful non-profits described their programs.

After the presentations we visited nearby Davis Park and the Wildcat Creek restoration, the setting for The Watershed Project’s “Riparian Lab”. Amanda Booth (City of San Pablo Clean Water Program), Liza Dadiomov (The Watershed Project), and Rich Walking (Restoration Design Group) led a short tour.
