Agenda
9:00 Coffee, juice and bagels. The County Community Development Department will bring food, coffee and juice; donations are accepted (please bring a mug to minimize our use of paper or plastic cups).
9:30 Roundtable news/updates, including, but not limited to, the following items:
· Welcome from the Town of Danville (Chris McCann, Stormwater Pollution Control Program) -- confirmed
· Watershed Roundtable (all).
· Committee and Project Updates
o Executive Committee Report.
o Historical Ecology Project Update (John Kopchik, CCC Community Development Dept).
o Third Quadrennial Creek and Watershed Symposium Subcommittee to be held on Thursday November 15, 2007. Location TBA (Kae Ono, CCC Community Development Dept).
o Update on the Volunteer Creek Monitoring Program (Michelle Luebke, CCC Community Development Dept.)
o Update from the Website Subcommittee (Abby Fateman, CCC Community Development Dept.).
o Planning the Contra Costa Watershed Award Ceremony in Nov 2007 (Kae Ono, CCC Community Development Dept).
10:15 Bay Area Integrated Regional Water Management Plan Coordination – Mitch Avalon (CCC Flood Control District).
10:40 East Branch Alamo Creek (Windemere Development, Dougherty Valley) -- Jeff Haltiner (Phil Williams Associates) and Teri Rie (Contra Costa County Public Works Dept).
11:05 Wildfire in My Watershed -- Maria Morales (Diablo Firesafe Council).
11:30 Adjourn to the July 11, 2007 Contra Costa Watershed Forum meeting in San Pablo (location confirmed).
Optional Field Trip to the East Branch Alamo Creek restoration site (may need to drive ten minutes or more to this site from this meeting location).
The CCWF will provide reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities planning to attend CCWF meetings who contact Kae Ono at least 24 hours before the meeting. Agenda items for the CCWF meetings are discussed by the Executive Committee. The next Executive Committee is scheduled for June 13 at lunch time.
