INVASIVE SPECIES, AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH AND CROP PROTECTION
* Invasive Species Research - On March 9, the USDA Economic Research
Service announced that the Agency is seeking applications by May 7, 2007
for grants and cooperative agreements in its 2007 Competitive Award
Program, titled 'Program of Research on the Economics of Invasive Species
Management (PREISM)' - ERS notes that “ … the two priority research areas
for 2007 are (1) Efficient Prevention and Management of Invasive Species,
and (2) International Dimensions of Invasive Species Management …” -
