Native Pollinators play an important role in our ecosystem, but their habitat and food plants are decreasing.
You can help these delightful and valuable creatures find healthy habitat on your property! Come and learn how. (See attached flyer for details or view online at http://www.ccrcd.org/news/Pollinator%20flyer2.pdf ).This workshop will discuss the best plants for native pollinators and help you
understand management techniques to improve habitat for these important insects . The workshop will highlight the diversity of our native bees, and the latest research on their value as crop pollinators. Many of these guidelines will not only provide resources for our native species, but will also support the European honey bee. Please RSVP
to Mary Grim at the Resource Conservation District so she can ensure seating for all. The presentation is free and light refreshements will be served. (mary.grim@ca.nacdnet.net or 925-672-6522 x113).
