The next Watershed Forum meeting is November 14th from 9:00 to 11:30. We are meeting in East County at the Knightsen Farm Hall We will learn about the Agricultural Ordinance update that the Contra Costa County Department of Conservation and Development has undertaken, as well as a stock pond restoration program at the Contra Costa Resource Conservation District. As we approach the end of 2018, it is time to look ahead. In 2019 the next Contra Costa Watershed Symposium will take place, and this is a big one! We will celebrate 20 years of creating a community around stewardship. Contra Costa Watershed Forum Mixer January 9, 2019. Instead of our normal meeting format, the first meeting of 2019 will focus on the work that connects us. There will be an extended Round Robin where we can share projects and goals for our watersheds in 2019. After the Round Robin there will be brief presentation on the Streamside Management Program for Landowners (SMPL).
